The Southern African Computer Lecturers’ Association (SACLA) is a formal association of academics involved in education, lecturing, and teaching in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), and related Information Technology (IT) subjects at universities and other higher education institutions throughout Southern Africa. SACLA is dedicated to advancing computer science education in South Africa to support educators and foster a community that drives innovation and excellence in computer science teaching and research.

We are excited to announce the 54th SACLA 2025 conference scheduled for 30 July 2025 to 01 August 2025 at Tuscan Rose in Bloemfontein. This annual event, usually attended by 60 to 100 delegates, promises to be a pivotal moment for educators, industry professionals, and students alike, featuring keynote speakers and panel discussions to address current trends and future directions in computer science education. There is also a head of departments’ colloquium, an influential group of people who impact the content of future curricula.

SILVER LEVEL R30 000

Your logo will appear on all SACLA 2025 documentation and on the website with a link to your website. You may distribute marketing material at the conference or provide marketing material to be included in the conference bag. A brief description of your company will be included in the official SACLA 2025 Sponsorship Brochure, along with relevant contact details.

GOLD LEVEL R40 000

Acknowledgement as a Sponsor/Partner by the SACLA 2025 Chairperson during the Opening Plenary Address. Space will be provided to place an exhibition stand in a prominent position for the duration of the conference. Gold-Level sponsors will additionally receive all the benefits of Silver-Level sponsors but with a more detailed description of the company in the SACLA 2025 Sponsorship Brochure.

PLATINUM LEVEL R50 000

Acknowledgement as a Sponsor/Partner by the SACLA 2025 Chairperson during the Opening Plenary Address. You can benefit from a 30-minute to an hour presentation slot for the main conference programme. Platinum-level sponsors will additionally receive all the benefits of Gold-Level sponsors but with a full-page feature in the SACLA 2025 Sponsorship Brochure, which can include a message from the CEO. Two representatives from your company will be invited as guests to the conference banquet.
